IPA means India Pale Ale. This style originated when English troops in India quenched their thirst to this hoppy brew. The extra hops were added to preserve and stabilize the beer during the long voyage to India. Our version of this style uses plenty of chinook hops from Yakima Valley. The flavor can best be described as strong resiny grapefruit. The long drawn out flavor is essential to this beers character.

Orange and grapefruit aromas with an overall floral quality. Marmalade colored body with lots of floaties, white head and decent lacing. Nice and bitter with a dry finish. Mild pine and citrus as well as a biscuit flavor...overall it's fairly dull for an IPA. Nothing shocking and it has an odd bitter bite to it.

Really, As an IPA it didn't impress me a whole lot. It had a very nice golden colour with a soft floral head. but the the taste was mildly hoppy with a touch of citrus notes. A nice beer, but something I would like to try again on draught.
