Battlefield is a special India Pale Ale that is as aggressive as it's name: well-hopped and packed with rich maltiness. A stellar balance of crisp bitterness and floral aromas, achieved by a god-like blend of English and American hops. We like to think it puts a spin on what you know about IPAs. Try it with beef dishes or any grilled/blackened meats, shrimp or light fish, and for a snack pair with strong cheeses.

Pours hazy golden with a substantial, frothy, pale buff head. Aroma features resiny hops and citrus tones, sharp and inviting. Flavor adds a little wood to the hop character, just a bit of bitterness, a hint of malt. Mouthfeel delivers typical body and OK fizz. Not a resounding victory, but wins the battle of the taste buds.

This stuff is practically leaping from the taps! Big, bold IPA without being too intimidating or overwhelming (at least for my IPA-appreciating pallette). Floral to the nose with a spicy note. Deep copper-orange-amber color with a moderate head that laces well. Crisp to bitter on the pallette with a bold hoppy-spicy flavor that pleases. Putting Alabama on the craft beer map!
