Pours clear caramel with with a nice pale tan head. Aroma offers average caramel and toasted malt notes. Flavor ups the caramel and tossed in a little tart apple. Mouthfeel presents typical body and fizz. Not exactly devilish, but serviceable.

Sampled at GABF on 9/18/2010. This weizenbock pours a slightly hazy light brown color from the tap. Medium sized head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, bready with a touch of alcohol. A lighlt to medium bodied weizenbock. The malts are fruity, sweet and bready. The hops are herbal. Kind of thin for all that alcohol, and not as malty or sweet as one would expect from a weizenbock. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with some alcohol.

Feb 21, 2009 On draught. At the Bocktown, pleasant place! Atwater tuefl S6L4F2T408: Nice darker clear color. Decent tan head. Smell is beery fresh, rather fruity at times. Fairly strong alky bite on the taste buds. Almost like strong ale, or possibly even barley wine tripel status. Decent carbonation. Finish is medicinal linger, for a while anyway.
