Dunkel, which means dark in German, is brewed using a mixture of the finest German malts and hops. The rich, dark flavor and color create a malt lager, that will please even the most discriminating 'micro' consumer.

A clear brown body holds up a robust head upon pour. Far too much carbomnation in this one, interfering with the mouthfeel and taste. I gave it a try. And next time I'll reach for something else.

Bottle. Poured a clear, dark-brown color with a medium light-brown head. Very faint nutty and malty aroma. Fizzy mouthfeel. Flavor is very light. Not much to it. A little hint of hops with a little malt flavor. Pretty weak actually.

Dark brown color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is nutty and roasted malts. A medium to light bodied dunkel. Malts are nutty and slightly sweet. Hops are slightly bitter and a little earthy. Nice balance. Light and refreshing. Slightly dry finish. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with a touch of malt roastiness.
