Caramel, vanilla, pine, oranges, and grass. Bitter and sweet. Much maltier than many beers of the style. A unique double IPA that is definitely more on the old school side but is definitely memorable. Fairly drinkable considering the lower alcohol content for the style.

Pours clear, bubbly copper-brown with a thick and rather persistent frothy buff head. Aroma presents subtle hoppy and citrus tones, not strong but give it a chance. Bold flavor delivers woody hop, malty and citrus tones for a pleasing if not spectacular IPA. An alcohol nip appears in the finish. Mouthfeel features decent fizz and body. Maybe not worth a conniption fit - or likely to cause one - but give it a fair shake.
