A crisp, hoppy pale ale with a bittersweet finish. It is our most popular beer and a favorite nectar of the Hindu Gods.

Strong, hoppy aroma has an overtone of somewhat sweet grapefruit and a touch of orange. It pours an attractive amber with a nice white head that leaves some decent lacing. Flavor has a strong grapefruit overtone that is more sour than sweet. Core of the flavor is hoppy with some malt and a floral hint. Though the sour and bitter flavors are strong and the sweetness is subtle, they complement each other nicely. Grapefruit finish has hoppy, malty and floral notes. Firm texture has quite a bit of fizz and leaves a fairly persistent tingle on the tongue and lips. And you gotta see the kewl art on the bottle!

A murky orange appearance with a small fading white head. The aroma contains citrus as expected with some oranges and lemons. The malty aspect of the aroma really takes over with sweet potatoes, caramel, and brown sugar. Also a hint of a pill bottle. The flavor is slightly bitter with some lemons and oranges showing. I also taste some caramel and brown sugar. A heavy herbal presence in this one. The palate is rather thin. Overall not bad but quite off the wall for an IPA. Its ok anyway.

The IPA pours a medium gold color from the tap at the brewpub. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy hops and some malts. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are mild and citrusy. Again this IPA is more in the English style than the US style. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

pours a pleasent golden colour, with a fluffy and bitter head. the taste does indeed start off with a touch of sweetness and ends crisp with a lemon like hop taste.
