With a brilliant, deep copper hue and creamy beige-colored head, our Fall Hornin’ Pumpkin Ale has inviting aromas of caramelized malt and baking bread with highlights of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and seasonal spices. The pleasantly creamy mouthfeel and silky body embrace the sweet caramel flavors and tang of spices (with just a hint of hops) that ends in a smooth, round finish. Malts: Pale Two-Row, Maris Otter, Munich, Crystal 120L, Dark Chocolate, Pumpkin Puree Hops: Bravo

Pours a translucent and appetizing mahogany sigh a thick buff head. Malty aroma has a pumpkin and cinnamon overtone. Flavor echoes the notes of the aroma and tosses a bit of clove onto the mix. This is pure fall, but good any time of year! Firm texture has some good fizz, and leaves a spicy (cinnamon and clove) and slightly pumpkin and woody finish. Fall into one.

A big thanks to SlowRunner77 for the seasonal brew! I am historically not a fan of pumpkin/spiced ales. FWIW, I still think Cape Ann Fisherman's Pumpkin Stout is the best of the pumpkin ales. That beer is more gourd, less spice. This beer, while strongly spiced, is still far more subtle in its spice profile than its contemporaries (Southern Teir PumpKing, DFH Punkin'). I enjoyed it but I will continue to pass on spiced ales more often than not. Also, props to the can - love the horned bear!

Pours out a vey dark brown with a reddish hue and thick tan head. The aroma has almost no smell. The mouthfeel is pretty thick and smooth. The taste really doesn't represent pumpkin or pumpkin spice. It taste okay nothing wrong there just doesn't seem to be a pumpkin. Maybe it's because I've been drinking a lot of powerful pumpkin beers lately.

Walking down the BevMo aisles and there it is, the bear with the antlers. Fall Hornin' it says. Okay...I'll bite. I'm always looking for a new'ish pumpkin beer to try and this was WAY better than the crappy NB Pumpkick. A very pronounced pumpkin spice aroma, bready, with just a bit of sugar cookie. The flavor is pumpkin spices, medium sweetness which I really liked. Going to get another 6-pack of this. Very nice. -

A purty beer that like many is more spice than pumpkin. Opens up nicely though. Nutmeg, all spice, light ginger & cinnamon. Nice smooth malty backbone, which works well with this one. About on par with Sam Adams Harvest Pumpkin, just better lookin.
