Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9
22 oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber with a medium frothy white head that goes to a film that laces the glass.
The aroma is piney, resinous hops with a little melon and grapefruit.
The flavor is a little biscuity caramel malts with a huge resinous pine hop bitterness with a touch of melon. The bitterness is sticky and lingers in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and kind of watery.
Overall, other than the mouthfeel, this is a very good DIPA. It's a bit of a one-dimensional hop bomb but there's good piney/resiny flavor with the bitterness. I'd like to see a little more fruitiness. But this is good!
