This autumn the incredibly talented Kit Landwehr painted a surreal mural on our patio of which we've aptly named the 'Pacific Portal'. Early on in the creative process we talked to Kit about the hop valleys across the world that have inspired us, particularly the Yakima and Willamette valleys. This beer (and mural) is a tribute and transportation to those valleys and showcases the best of the best from those regions. A heavily hopped and delicate West Coast-style IPA with a blend of Oregon-grown Strata and Comet, as well as Washington-grown Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe. We get layers of ruby red grapefruit and blood orange in both the flavor and aroma, as well as a resounding dank and sweet fruit note that carries through from start to finish

Pours clear straw yellow with a nice ivory head. Aroma presents funk, fresh malt, resiny hops, a hint of citrus. Flavor contributes piney hops, citrus, fresh malt notes. Texture supplies decent body and peppy fizz. Step through the Pacific Portal.
