Very clean motor oil, with a 1" thick creamy crow floating on top. Sweet bready aroma, soap, bitter hop is very noticeable but not as much as you'd think for the style. First sip reveals a very descent beer but it wont hold up for the style. I like the sweet malt character, its almost nutty. Resin to not really pine hops with a long bitter finish. Getting small hints of chocolate. I do like the nice thick feel. Gum, dirt, bitterness....the end...or is it......nope. Second pour....bitterness fading, bready malts exploding. Like I said this is a good beer but it fails against almost every other IIPA ever made. THE END!!
