You can’t beat sweets for breakfast, can you? And we all know nothing quite hits the spot like a tall stack of American-style pancakes practically dribbling with maple syrup and dark honey. Add some delicious overripe blueberries to the mix for a tart and fruity kick and now you’re cooking with gas! Now picture all that…except it’s a 7% pastry sour by Alchemik. And with us, you know there ain’t no half-stackin’. Word!

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 7.0%. Murky reddish brown colour, lots of disgusting and lumpy floaties in the end pour. Hardly any head. Aroma of maple syrup, pancakes and honey, just a hint of blueberries. Medium sour flavour with lactic acid, otherwise the same elements as the aroma. Unpleasant beer - drainpour.
