A beer to run naked through the waves with on a tropical beach. But make no mistake, Smoof pHoperator is not the kind of IPA to entrust your heart to. It picked up a few tricks in the south pacific, like some juicy, musky notes from Nelson Sauvin and Wakatu hops. It learned the language of a smooth and biscuity body from some mid-western maltsters with doses of Goldpils and Honey Malt. It’s enticing. It’s rich but crisp. It’s a Smoof pHoperator. Smoooooof pHoooperaaator.

Pours orange amber with a nice pale buff head. Woody hops dominate the aroma, with resiny and malty and grapefruit notes as backup singers. Hoppy flavor delights thanks to citrus and malty supporters. Mouthfeel is average, and it goes down well. A "smoof" brew.
