The shotgun house is a New Orleans classic. Fire a shotgun through the front door and it will pass out the back and never touch a wall...or so the story goes. Shotgun Double IPA is wall-to-wall hops with plenty of pale malt. Hopped in the brewhouse with multiple varieties including Amarillo and Centennial, then dry hopped with Simcoe, Citra and Cascade. A blast of intense flavors and aromas of pine, citrus and tropical fruit.

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7
Pours hazy coppery amber with a thick and frothy eggshell head. Strongly hoppy aroma reaches out and touches the nose from half a meter away; closer in, orangy citrus and raw malt make appearances. Flavor presents resiny hop, evergreen wood, fresh malt and tangy citrus tones. Mouthfeel delivers decent body and fizz, and leaves a hoppy finish. I said, Shotgun, beer em for he brews now!
