Golden is a crisp, clean continental lager. Just four ingredients are all it takes: American malt, Mt. Hood hops, German lager yeast and pure Abita Springs water. As the name implies, Abita Golden has a brilliant gold color. Its flavor makes this light lager the perfect match for Louisiana Creole food. Both Abita Light and Abita Golden go well with just about anything. Try it with mild rice or pasta dishes, grilled vegetables, grilled chicken and fish, and even with something spicy like Louisiana boiled crawfish, shrimp and crabs. Goat cheeses like feta and chevre pair well with Abita Golden.

This is not a great beer, maybe not even a good beer. It's a pale gold colour with a generous white head. The aroma is grassy malt, with some hops. The taste is your typical grainy metallic blonde ale with a touch of hops

Yep. It's golden and that's about all you can say about it. Everything else about this beer is just average. I mean, it's not bad, but why pay a premium price form something that's now better than any other beer that costs half as much?

Sampled at a festival a while back, pretty basic golden ale- pours a bright golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is of grain, biscuits and pears. Taste is malty on the palate, and a little sweet as well.

Poured a clear gold with small white head. Looked like you basic golden Ale. The flavor was crisp and clean with little aftertaste. The mouthfeel was light with a medium amount of fizz. Nothing special in this one but a solid ale

There wasn't much of an aroma to this but the appearance was quite nice. It poured a very light golden color with a large head that lasted for quite a while. The flavor was nice enough-very smooth and enjoyable.

This beer poured a light gold with a good head and lacing at the Abita bar in birthplace of Abita. There’s a slight fruitiness and it’s light and crisp.
