Odd, maybe just cuz I haven't had a stout quite like this before: oddly sweet, not very outstanding, and somewhat stout like. This is an example of Belgian and Stout not mixing well. Very dark appearance with near to no head. Aroma was sweet with dark fruits coming through. Flavor was very sweet, artificially so, with dark fruits in there (hard to discern which ones), and with a lightly roasted type finish. No hops to balance and bitterness was near to none. Nice keepsake from small town Belgium touring, but not something to seek out if you don't stumble upon it. Actually, I wouldn't waste the alcohol capacity on this one if in Belgium.
