This beer is amber in color and full of American hops. Borrowing the style India Pale Ale (IPA) for English, North American style with suitable varieties of hops grown on their land. The American IPAs are stronger in alcohol, more bitter and more aromatic than their English counterparts. The Ruin Papilles offers citrus and grapefruit flavors and blends well with caramelized malts. Bitter, this beer style is not appropriate for a first experience at the microbreweries. Recalcitrant at first glance, those who enjoy trying new flavors will probably fall into the trap as it is increasingly known and accepted that the hops are addictive. tasting Temperature: 4-6 ° C Pressure: 12-14 PSI Type of glass suggested: Pint Suggested cheeses: aged Cheddars and refined pasta technicality Type: American IPA Origin: United States Color: Amber (10 ° SRM) Fermentation: High Temperature Ingredients: Barley malt Quebec, American hops and yeast Alcohol content: 6.2% alcohol Bitterness: 60 IBU

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7
Pours a relatively small frothy brownish head. Has an amber/light copper appearance with lots of carbonation. Nice dirty lacing. Sweet and bready malt aromas and some mild herbal hops. Flavours of strong citrus and resin type hops with some notes of toffee and creamy type malts. Bitterness is quite profound and apparent at 60ibu's. Have had others at around the same and this one seems to fit it. It is unfiltered, which may be a factor. Has a slick, chalky mouthfeel. Quite bitter in the finish as well. Pretty good stuff.
