Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7
Pours very minimal head for a stout, goes away quickly and leaves a thin layer. Has a pitch black appearance. Weak lacing. Aromas of toffee, dark roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. Flavours are pretty much the same as aromas but with the light oatmeal coming through as well. Some hints of caramel, spice and earthy hops add to the flavour. Somewhat wet mouthfeel. Also slick and oily with a light warming sensation. At 50ibu (on bottle as opposed to site description), not very bitter at all, in my mind. Nice light stout with a great taste and easy to drink, just somewhat disappointing.

Pours black, no head, no cling. Weak aroma of roasted malt and dark chocolate. Very strong flavour of strong old coffee, dark chocolate and very bitter. No balance. Give it a 7 for flavour because it has a lot for 4.8 abv.
