12oz can pours with a clear amber colored body that has wafer thin golden hues and supports a thin off white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up dark fruity ester infused malts as well as a faint sense of woody to earthy shrub like hops. The taste delivers an initial rush of faintly sweet dark fruity esters rimmed thinly amidst some sweet malts and then more bitter hops to midway. The hops are a little vague and pretty well integrated with spicy hops, earthy ever green like shrubbery and then some bitter pine hops. This is a little disjointed but overall a nice sipper.
