50cl bottle pours up with a clear copper body and thin gold hues supporting a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up an inviting degree of dank earthy hops that are shallot and somewhat garlic like along with some grapefruit citrus hops around the edges. The taste is similar and I’m digging it. This has a great mix of dankness, shallots, grapefruit and garlic as well as a earthy black tea quality that surfaces about midway. Reading this back those flavor combinations don’t seem like notes that should go together but boy howdy! they do. Yum, solid rich and balanced where the hop bitterness plays well with the various hop flavors.

500 ml bottle, as 8 Wired Super Conductor Double IPA, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 8.8%. Crystal clear golden colour, apparently filtered. Moderate white head. Intense aroma of fruity NZ and US hops, a remarkable blend of lychee and other tropical fruits, citrus and white grapes. Also hints of spruce and caramel. The flavour is very hoppy, fruity, resinous and bitter, but also quite sweet. Far from "perfectly balanced", but still damned good and tasty.

Bought the last one left in the store, and when it was re-stocked, bought many more. Has many of my favourite IPA characteristics. Quite malty, very very bitter, citurs, and come lemon, but I get tons of tropics, tons of sweet hop flavours, honey and pineapple, maybe even quickly. A little lighter in body and I would think it was nearly perfect for me. That said, when it is a bit chilly, I appreciate the slight bready/heavier malt. So pretty much loved it.

Slightly hazy honey brown with a thick pillowy crown. Yum yum yummers man this smell good. Wife says it smells like lemon and beer.... possibly a wet one. I smell heavy caramel, big citrus mostly RRGF but I also hit lemon. Aroma has a pungent quality after it sits for a while. First sip has a soapy wood quality. Big caramel sweetness, some bubble gum, honey, resin, so much citrus. Grapefruit, pineapple ...................... I keep finding a hidden funk. Heavy missed up aftertaste. So very bitter!! good brew not great.
