This American IPA is hopped with Nelson, Simcoe and Blanc. And a lot of it. These three hops make a nice combination from around the globe - Simcoe from the US, Blanc from Germany and Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand. Together they have a broad flavor profile: orange, pine, tropical, gooseberry, kiwi and lime. It's political season again, so our IPA names are back! We should be allowed to self-distribute our beers in Georgia. It's appalling the State prevents us from doing so.

Taps clearish amber with a thick beige head. Aroma yields piney hops, tropical, orange and fresh malt notes. Flavor presents piney and somewhat bitter hops, orange, malty, tropical, and subtle berry character. Texture features firm, smooth body and lively fizz. To better beer laws in Georgia - you listening, Brian Kemp? (Actually, the laws have improved since I reviewed this beer - sadly, 5 Seasons is no more. Break, break my heart.)
