Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9
Pours a nearly opaque mahogany with a pale buff head. Strong malty aroma had a firm fruity undertone - all kinds of fruit! Bold, rich flavor has malty, plum, berry, peach, pear and horehound notes - quite sweet but not at all cloying. Almost like tutti frutti juice with a kick! Mouthfeel is thick and syrupy, though a tad lacking in the fizz department. Apparently an homage to a Grateful Dead tour. Why not to the first Star Wars movie?
