A classic German-style dark wheat beer brewed with German wheat, crystal wheat, pale malt and chocolate malt, German hops and a German yeast. It is very flavorful with big notes of toffee, banana, clove and chocolate. It is unfiltered, and therefore cloudy, as is traditional. Please ask your server or bartender if you would like a slice of lemon served with it. Named for my Dad because his favorite dessert is Bananas Foster – which reminds me of this style of beer – and because he’s a good man. (And although our attorneys remind us that we can’t make any health claims regarding beer due to government regulations), 5 out of 5 Doctor Morans recommend this beer! Prost!

Taps barely translucent chocolate brown with a fair buff head. Aroma offers caramel, toasted malt, wheat and banana notes. Flavor ups the banana and wheat character, but retains the malt and downplays the caramel. Body is about average, while tingle has some good life. Ask for a prescription.
