We couldn’t think of a more English name than our lifelong friend Nigel. This beer is the definition of an English style ale. Pours dark brown and has rich notes of malted barley, biscuit and coffee.

Cleanish, amber colour with a light beige cap, average stay and some light lacing. Aromas are. big, with caramel, nuttiness, a touch of coffee, wood. The taste is a little less rich, balanced by the hops, creating a cutting, drying finish. Thankfully not as sweet in the flavours with mild grassiness blending things. Some woody tart left on the tongue. A nice, stronger English Ale that has punch.
