Dakine is a tropical IPA brewed with pineapple, honey, and mandarin zest. Dakine pours golden in color with a huge, tropical flavor. Bright citrus aroma is accented by juicy pineapple flavor and a slightly sweet finish.

Yellow pour with a foamy white head. Leaves some nice sheets of lacing. Lots of bubbles. Nose is pineapple, mango, orange and sweet malt. Pineapple and sweet malt lead the flavors with notes of orange, lemon and some drying hops on the finish. Very tropical character. I went into this one not expecting much and came away very impressed. I was at the brewpub last year, but this was not one of the many beers I had there. Worth a try.
