Crook County IPA is dedicated to the 5 Million citizens of the most beautifully deranged county in existence. Citra and Centennial hops dominate this brew. So enjoy the burst of citrus. Allow it to light up your face-hole and hopefully your day. This well balanced beast has been dry-hopped to the Bejesus. So suck in the intense, aromatic deliciousness. So, whether you were born here or actually chose this way of life, god bless us every one. It's not all crooked and evil... but you know who you are... and what you did. This bold IPA should make you feel right at home.

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8

Pours a clear amber color with a small eggshell colored head that leaves some impressive spidery lacing. Grapefruit, mango, fresh cut flowers and pine aromas. Grapefruit, mango, sweet malt and pine sap lead the flavor parade. The finish is smooth, with a hint of bitterness. The flavor is a bit of a letdown after smelling this beer. I have had this beer before and it seems as if this batch is a bit toned down from my initial tasting, as I had found it to have some similarities to Surly Furious, one of my favorite IPA's. I need to try this again somewhere down the road for further comparison. Very good, but it seems to me to be a bit uneven from batch to batch.
