Clear yellow, small white lacing foam head. Weak barley aroma and indeed Heineken taste. Too bad this does not classify as a Vietnam beer. (Galveston 201705)

Local Thai place of all places, waiting for food. Nice n crisp. Slightly dry, champagne like effervescence and a hint of citrus. Really not too shabby for a pale lager. Not actually good, but just in the generic sense. Not offensive.

Ordered this at a sketchy Vietamese restaurant in Boston. Would have poured it into a glass but the glass given to me was very hot, straight out of the dishwasher. Very standard, boring lager; unfortunately not good/strong enough to soothe the burn of the thai chilis in my food (but that is my fault for getting the super spicy dish).

Had this at Chateau de Saigon on Buford Highway in Atlanta - I got the authentic Vietnamese version. Pours a typical clear yellow with a decent white head. Aroma is crisp, malty and just a little fruity. Flavor is about average for a lager, malty and fruity but at least it tastes better than the industrial swill. Texture is lively and a little tingly. An average beer, but good as an accompaniment for dinner or for a party.

It pours a light golden with thin white head and some lace. Faint aroma of malts, hops, and some citrus notes. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of sweet malts, light hops, citrus, and champagne?? Funny, but it has a grape-like and champagne taste&feel to it. It's fresh and a bit unique, I like it!

Heheheh, is the 33 for Rolling Rock or is this some Viet beer? I wonder which came first? Has a map of the Chesapeake bay for a logo. Orange glow on a ubiquitous pale yellow lager appearance. Good carbonation and the taste is clean and crisp. First bite is impressive but it immediately fades. Good example of an enjoyable cheap pale lager.

Well, this is a beer from Vietnam and not France. Pours out a straw color with a small white head that fizzles out, though the vigorous carbonation rising. Aroma was of flowers, grass and notes of fruits. Tastes is very clean and crisp with fruits and malts. Its pretty sweet and watered down.

As a vietnam vet this was a required ritual to drink this stuff. Urban legend had it that the VC used formaldehyde in it instead of alcohol to poison us evil Americans (aloong with ground glass in their locally bottled Coca Cola). Had it in an oriental restaurant here locally a couple of time and like most Asian beers I think is it thin, rather bland and really only good for the occasional "flashback"

Well, the only reason I got this brew is because I thought in was from Vietnam and I wanted to try a brew from there. It's not from Vietnam and it sucks. What a waste of money.

Pale yellow color, not very stable foam, though it bubbles strongly. Aroma has not any interesting components in it. Taste is also boringly tasteless and watery.
