pretty well balanced iipa that was very enjoyable, but not a standout at the dipa fest. citrusy with a bitter finish, medium to even light bodied in comparison to others, but again, not bad.

Tasted on tap at the 11th Bistro Double IPA Festival on 2/12/2011. This Imperial India Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, citrusy and grapefruity hops. A medium to full bodied Imperial India Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, orange and citrus. The hops are citrusy and grapefruity. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Despite the lower IBUs in this beer it is very hop forward. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
