Had at the brewpub on the day of the release. This time from a can. Pours a slightly dark amber color with a small white head that settles to a thin white blanket on the top of the glass. Grapefruit, resinous hops, sweet malt and pine needles on the nose. Tastes as it smells with the grapefruit and resinous piney hops leading the flavor parade. Mildly bitter with long lasting piney goodness. Mouthfeel is dense and almost has a coating effect. An outstanding DIPA brewed in collaboration with Mikkeller. A bit pricey at $5.50 for a 12 oz. can, but will buy again, if and when it is released.
