Modern Comforts is a collaboration with our friends at Modern Times in San Diego. For this massively hopped Double IPA we used Citra and Mosaic hop pellets, CO2 hop extract, and lupulin powder from YCH Hops. Using all three of these hop products, and putting our minds together with our west coast friends, we absolutely saturated the hop flavor and aroma in this beer.

Taps clear topaz with a nice eggshell head. Aroma delivers a strong note of evergreen hops plus a hint of raw malt. Flavor bursts with zesty hops, yet is scarcely bitter, and drags some woody, malty and citrus tones in or a wake. Mouthfeel features good body, peppy fizz, and a hoppy finish. Modern, comfortable.
