For Terrapin’s 14th year anniversary we thought we would celebrate with a Tart Belgian Red Ale. Brewed with copious amounts of crystal malts for a majestic red color, and fermented with Lactobacillus and a Belgian yeast strain for an acidic and spicy finish, this anniversary ale is one to appreciate all year long.

Pours clear rust brown with a thick but effervescent buff head. Aroma delivers sharp sour cherry and fresh malt notes. Flavor features pleasing notes of cherry and other dark fruit, as well as a nice malty tone and a hint of fresh-cut wood. Mouthfeel presents firm body but not much fizz, and a fruity and somewhat woody finish. Happy Anniversary, Terrapin - may you enjoy many, many more. Even after the Falcons win the Super Bowl.
