This double IPA was heavily hopped with Japanese Sorachi Ace hops. The yeast went to town creating flavors of star anise and deep caramel to carry the rich citrus zest hop flavor.

Pours clear coppery amber with a fairly thick eggshell head that leaves good lacing. Bold aroma is hoppy and rather fruity. Flavor is quite hoppy, a little fruity, with an undertone of what must be star anise. Texture is none too firm, but it has good fizz and leaves a hoppy and anise finish. Pocket this ace!
