Scrumptious. A beer a woman could die for. Fruity and yeasty........like a fresh loaf of raisin bread. The world needs more beer like this (or else it needs to be more available).

A friend brought this to a recent party my boyfriend and I were having. Not being a stout drinker, I wasn't sure what to think. A black beer with hints of coffee and chocolate. A beer with toast for breakfast.

This was heaven in a glass, a truly magnificent beer experience. Golden in colour, spicy in taste. Something I will truly buy again....and soon. I need more of this.

Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 10

This is far and away the best beer I have had to date. The beer had body to it and slid beautifully on the tongue. The flavor was full of surprises.........definitely not a Coors Light.

A classic Belgian beer that comes in a funny shaped bottle. Full of particles, the taste is slightly on the spicy side (I'm told that is typical of the style).

The fatc that they made a movie about this beer really says it all. Anyway, it's God Awful stuff. I've tried it many times when Coors Lite wasn't available, and each time I wanted to puke. But it looks nice in the glass.

This is the swill to end all swills, and is probably the worst beer I have ever tasted. Even my Coors Lite has more flavour than Milwaukee's Best. They need to include a manual with the bottle that tells how to gag properly after drinking.

I think we've all had this beer a few times in our life, and we all say the same thing. It has no colour, it has no head, it smells like puke, it tastes like shit, etc. Well, I'm not a fan, but I don't find it as offensive.

This beer was a revelation for me...................it was amazing. My boyfriend and I shared a bottle of this dark brown brew. The aroma was yeasty with nuts and fruit tones. The mouthfeel was smooth, yet carbonated. The flavor has heaven. Liquid bread with jam on it.

160 Chimay Grande Réserve (Blue) Belgium Belgian Strong Ale 4.1

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

The bottle was cute. It's also a nice colour blue on the label. Too bad the beer wasn't blue. That would be cool. The beer is a dark brown. The aroma is malty with nutty hints. It is sharp on the tongue. The taste is malt and slightly bitter. It's a very good beer.

I'm not sure why all my California friends brought me stouts, is that all they make in California? Again, I'm so not a stout woman. This beer is blacker than the night. The aroma is strong roasted malt, some bitter coffee, and some sugar. It is very smooth on the tongue, no sharp carbonation. The taste is okay, not as bad as other stouts I've tried.

I felt that there was too much alcohol in this beer. It's dark brown and the head is huge and fluffy, and thick. The aroma is wet bread, malty, and a little spicy. The beer moves nicely over the tongue. I was worried because as a dark beer it is very stout like, but this was magnificent.

163 AleSmith Speedway Stout United States Imperial Stout 2.1

I guess I'm not a stout girl. After embarking on this hobby, I was able to secure several specimens of the top beers from around the country. I've drank about 500 different beers in the last 8 months, and I have a couple hundred more in my boyfriend's beer fridge. This brew (and that applies to it's coffee like features) is very dark, and has the thickness of a V-8 as opposed to a Bud Light. The aroma is bitter coffee. Bitter, bitter, bitter. It rolled on the tongue without any carbonation. The flavor was also very bitter. I did not like.

I'm really more of a Coors Light chick than anything else, but I've tried a few others. There is really nothing great about Blatz, it's cheap, ubiquitous, and get's the job done.

I love this beer. It tastes great and I can get it anywhere. It's been a long time since I tried anything else. It tastes great on a hot summer day.........and in Memphis..........we have a lot of those
