1 | Coopers Sparkling Ale | Australia | Blonde Ale | 3.1
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 Different. Tried during dinner recently and didn't feel that it complemented my meal. It poured a very clear gold colour with a white head. A mixyure of hops, spice, and grass made up the aroma. The taste was a little on the spicy side with some malt mixed in. Not really worth trying again. |

3 | Westvleteren Abt 12 | Belgium | Abbey Quadrupel | 4.7
Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 9 This is BeerPal rating #100. This is an excellent beer and certainly lived up to it's hype. The price was a bit out of this world ($35) which put a damper on it but aside from that nothing to complain about. A dark golden brown pour, reddish hints, and a generous light tan head. Yeast, and sweet fruits filled the air. Flavour was nicely balanced between the sweet malt tones, the yeasty breadiness, and while the alcohol was noticed, it was noticed in a good way. Very smooth! |

4 | Struise Pannepot Grand Reserva Oak Aged | Belgium | Belgian Strong Ale | 4.4
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 I received this beer as a freebie from a friend. I need more like this. A brown pour, with a tan head which lingered. The aroma was sweet caramel malt, plums, licorice, and spices. A nice balance of sweetness and yeast in the flavour with sugary notes and malty hints. |

5 | Rochefort Trappistes 6 | Belgium | Abbey Dubbel | 4.6
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 9 Finally had the opportunity to try the two Rocheforts that I had missed previously and I have to be honest, I didn't see a whole lot of difference between the three of them. Lots of bread and dark fruits mixed with yeast. They don't try to hard to deviate from the formula. Maybe the thinnest of the three, but still an excellent beer. |

6 | Rochefort Trappistes 8 | Belgium | Belgian Strong Ale | 4.9
Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 10 The second Rochefort beer I've tried and every bit as good as the 10. If I have one complaint is that the aroma wasn't as sweet as the 10, but almost identical to the 6 (tried a couple of hours later). But, I could drink any of these all day long (and all night) |

14 | Abbaye des Rocs Grand Cru | Belgium | Belgian Strong Ale | 4.7
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 10 My husband and I like the Abbayes des Rocs brune so we thought we would give this a try. Not as dark as the brune but stiull a dark brown colour. There was a lot of cherries and plums in the aroma and taste that shined through. I recommend this beer to everybody! |

15 | St. Bernardus Abt 12 | Belgium | Abbey Quadrupel | 4.7
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 10 I felt that there was too much alcohol in this beer. It's dark brown and the head is huge and fluffy, and thick. The aroma is wet bread, malty, and a little spicy. The beer moves nicely over the tongue. I was worried because as a dark beer it is very stout like, but this was magnificent. |

16 | Belle-Vue Sélection Lambic | Belgium | Gueuze | 4.7
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 9 Lambics are a peculiar thing to me. I've heard how great good lambics are, but I always wonder why anybody would want a beer this funky. The bottle is dated 1999...which adds more to my worries. Cloudy golden orange in colour with funk eminating everywhere. Very tart on the tongue. But this is a standard bearer for the Lambic franchise. |

17 | Chimay Grande Réserve (Blue) | Belgium | Belgian Strong Ale | 4.1
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 The bottle was cute. It's also a nice colour blue on the label. Too bad the beer wasn't blue. That would be cool. The beer is a dark brown. The aroma is malty with nutty hints. It is sharp on the tongue. The taste is malt and slightly bitter. It's a very good beer. |

18 | Abbaye des Rocs Brune | Belgium | Belgian Strong Ale | 4.7
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 10 This beer was a revelation for me...................it was amazing. My boyfriend and I shared a bottle of this dark brown brew. The aroma was yeasty with nuts and fruit tones. The mouthfeel was smooth, yet carbonated. The flavor has heaven. Liquid bread with jam on it. |

19 | La Chouffe | Belgium | Belgian Strong Ale | 4.5
Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 Yum! This was beautiful to stare at just sitting in the glass. Cloudy, golden nectar topped by a 2-3" white rocky head. Yeast, pepper, grass, and citrus waft gently through the air. A crisp tasting beer with generous hints of citrus, yeast, and malted grains. |

21 | Dieu du Ciel! Aphrodisiaque | Canada | Stout | 4.3
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8 Another stout, although the sweetness of this stout helped out a great deal. Sark brown, almost black with a light brown head. The aroma was heavy coffee with some hints of milk and sugar. The flavor was the same.....scrumptious, although a bigger bottle would have been nice. |

22 | Carling Black Label | Canada | Pale Lager | 4.0
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Another Canadian offering at Sipless Lager week and unlike some of the others, this one was quite good with great flavour. Dark gold (seems to be what defines a 'lager' as opposed to a 'pale lager') with a white head. Balanced aroma between grassy malt, and floral hops. Balanced taste between the same. Also, who's Mabel? My friend kept saying 'Set the table Mabel' |

23 | Dieu du Ciel! Péché Mortel (Mortal Sin) | Canada | Imperial Stout | 4.5
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 I find Canadian beers to be hit and miss (more miss) but this one was certainly a hit. A lot of complexity packed into this without the bitterness associated with some others. Good coffee anc chocolate balance with some vanilla and molasses hints. |

24 | Molson Old Style Pilsner | Canada | Pale Lager | 2.5
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 A friend brought this to the Sipless family lager week. A strong offering that is popular in Canada. There was nothing unique about it in my opinion. Golden in color, and grainy in smell and taste. Not worth a trip to the Great White North. |
