The flavour is slightly on the dry side, with the same elements as the aroma, but overall with a somewhat "unfresh" character.

500 ml can, from Helgø MENY, Hundvåg. ABV is 4.3%.Crystal clear pale golden colour, large white head. Sweetish aroma of pilsener malts and grassy hops, not too bad. Smooth mouthfeel. The flavour is kind of "neutral", a slight sweetness, very moderate hops. At least there are no unpleasant off-flavours. Some more bittering hops would not hurt.

440 ml can, from Helgø MENY Hundvåg. ABV is 4.7%. My Norwegian beer No. 4000 (well, that number includes a few ciders, meads and sakes). Slightly hazy golden to orange colour, large white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, hints of citrus and coconut, maybe not quite as fresh as desirable. Flavour of citrus and some tropical fruits, hints of sprucetips, low bitterness. Okay, but not the best in this series.

July 2019: 750 ml clear bottle, from Vinmonopolet Stavanger Verksgata. ABV is 9%. Deep golden colour, pours moderately sparkling with a moderate white head that actually lasts a while. Weird "perfumed" aroma, I wonder which apple varieties they have used here? Semi dry flavour of apples, again these weird "perfumed" and soapy notes. Don't think I'll buy this one again, there are better Norwegian ciders at Vinmonopolet.

January 2021: 750 ml clear bottle, batch 1140420, blend: Medium søt. From Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Orange to red colour, pours sparkling with an off-white head. Aroma of strawberries, rhubarb and apples. Sweet flavour, strawberries dominate, also rhubarb and sweet apples.

440 ml can, as BrewDog Double Hazy Jane New England IPA, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.2%. Hazy / murky golden colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, yellow stonefruits, spruce and pine. Flavour with the same elements, not too sweet, moderate bitterness. Good beer.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.0%. Murky pink-ish colour, moderate to small off-white head. Aroma of ripe and over-ripe raspberries and guava fruit (no surprise there), feels a bit unfresh. The flavour has notes of artificial candy (but is not overly sweet), also said fruits, again an unfresh feel to it. Noticeable bittering hops, which seem strangely misplaced. Appears unharmonious and pointless.

Aroma of over-ripe berries ("fruits of the forest"), lactic acid and lactose. Very sweet flavour, lactose galore (overkill), also lactic acid and loads of said berries. Won't buy again.

Citric mouthfeel, light bodied, but not too bad for a 3.7% beer. The flavour has some citrus and moderate malts, medium dry, moderate herbal hops. Better than I feared.

November 2013: Cask half pint at JDW Victoria Station, London. ABV was 4.3%. Deep golden colour, low white head. Moderate citrussy aroma. Pleasant lemony and zesty flavour, refreshing, with decent NZ hops throughout. A beer I could drink a lot of.

Shared bottle at Bryne tasting. Very pale straw colour. Decent apple aroma (Summerred). Sweet apple flavour, clearly sweeter than the ordinary Drengen. Quite good.

Fresh aroma of Discovery apples, a hint of sulphites. Semi-dry (or semi-sweet, if you like) flavour of eating apples, again a hint of sulphites.

Aroma of roast malts and coffee, hints of liquorice and dark chocolate. The flavour is mid between dry and sweet, and has the same elements as the aroma, also noticeable bittering hops.

Aroma of malts, caramel, brittle, blackberries and blackcurrants, over-ripe red berries, some earthy hops. The flavour has also notes of malts and caramel, but is not too sweet. Again notes of brittle, hints of berries, distinct earthy hops in the finish.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Dark brown colour, nearly black. Small beige head. Aroma of roast malts and burnt breadcrumbs, hints of figs and cinnamon. More distinct figs and cinnamon in the flavour, also roast malts, burnt breadcrumbs and moderate bittering hops in the background.
