The flavour is very chocolatey with a nice backbone of roasted malt. Kind of one dimensional in flavour, but at the same time, that one dimension tastes great!

Considering that the brewery specializes in wild ales, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the stout.

The flavour is grassy with definite hints of lime and possibly weak cherry, but hard to say. The can says it has a sour candy swirl in the flavour. I didn’t get it. The lime in my can was very prominent though.

Nice lacing down the glass. The aroma is light grass, citrus, some weak peppery spice, yeast, and earthy hops. The hoppy earthiness grows as the beer warms. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is multidimensional….the first thing you get is the grassy malts and the fruity citrus, and then you’re hit with the habanero pepper, and from that point on, all you can taste (and feel) is the pepper aspect of this beer.

The flavour is quite tart and is like the aroma and very raspberry forward. The grains and are also noticeable. No hop bite, just a lingering sour note on the tongue.

The finish is bitter. There is a flavour on the tongue I recognize but can’t quite place. A solid beer from the Muskokas.

The flavour is grain forward with a nice dose of strawberry sweetness. Not a lot of hop bite in the finish, but the beer is quite enjoyable.
