The flavour is hop forward with grapefruit notes galore, the malt and yeast notes are in the background. There is a tart berry note in the finish that ruins what otherwise is a very good beer.

Lacing is non-existent. The aroma is biscuit malts, yeast, tart citrus, and light cranberry. It’s definitely citrus, but it doesn’t say ‘tangerine’ to me. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour is very tart with both the cranberry and tangerine up front. Not a lot of bitterness in the finish, although it could be washed away by the tartness.

The flavour is well balanced between the tartness of the fruit, the ginger flavour, and the grains. I’m not a huge fan of cranberries, but I really like this beer!

The aroma is peanut forward with grassy malts and coffee in the mix. I don’t get any raspberry whatsoever. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The raspberry does come through in the flavour, but is still very light and lost in the mix of chocolate and peanuts. Finish isn’t very bitter at all.

The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grains, light citrus, and a weak hop finish. Far from being the best IPA I’ve ever had.

The flavour is sweet up front with notes of molasses and roasted malt, and finishes with a sharp bitter hop kick. This is a style that more Ontario brewers need to get behind, because when done well like this one, it’s one enjoyable style.

The flavour is a two pronged effort with both the roasted malt and sweet berry flavours attacking the tongue. There is some nice bitterness in the finish. Overall, a good beer!
