226 | Quayle's Fiddle and Field | Canada | English Pale Ale | 3.4
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7 355ml
5.6% ABV
Canned On: January 24, 2022
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
March 21, 2022
$3.25
The beer pours a red tinged gold colour with a creamy tan coloured head and leaves a lot of lacing. The aroma is cereal malt, grapefruit notes, and earthy hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is hop forward with grapefruit notes galore, the malt and yeast notes are in the background. There is a tart berry note in the finish that ruins what otherwise is a very good beer. |

227 | Bellwoods Jelly King (Cranberry & Tangerine) | Canada | Wild Ale | 3.6
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 500ml bottle
5.6% ABV
Bottled On: December 26, 2021
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
March 19, 2022
$7.50
The beer pours a golden orange colour with a generous white head which collapses into a thin white ring within seconds. Lacing is non-existent. The aroma is biscuit malts, yeast, tart citrus, and light cranberry. It’s definitely citrus, but it doesn’t say ‘tangerine’ to me. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour is very tart with both the cranberry and tangerine up front. Not a lot of bitterness in the finish, although it could be washed away by the tartness. |

228 | Nickel Brook ZAP! Sour IPA (Cranberry and Ginger) | Canada | Wild Ale | 3.8
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 473ml can
5.60% ABV
Canned On: December 14, 2021
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
March 18, 2022
$3.55
The beer pours a translucent cranberry red with a creamy white head which lasts a long time and provides a lot of lacing. The aroma is ginger forward with notes of tart cranberries, wet grass, and yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is well balanced between the tartness of the fruit, the ginger flavour, and the grains. I’m not a huge fan of cranberries, but I really like this beer! |

230 | Whitewater Brewing Peanut Butter and Raspberry Shake | Canada | Milk Stout | 3.5
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 March 11, 2022
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
473ml can
4.50%
Canned On: November 16, 2021
$3.95
The beer pours a solid coca-cola colour with a creamy light tan coloured head which lasts a while and leaves some good lacing down the glass. The aroma is peanut forward with grassy malts and coffee in the mix. I don’t get any raspberry whatsoever. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The raspberry does come through in the flavour, but is still very light and lost in the mix of chocolate and peanuts. Finish isn’t very bitter at all. |

The aroma was tart fruit, cereal grains, and yeast. The mouthfeel was thin bodied, and carbonation was on the weak side. The flavour is light grains, light cream, and tart cherries with a light bitter finish. I enjoyed the flavour. |

233 | Karbon Brewing J. E. D. I. | Canada | IPA | 3.0

Lacing is decent. There is a soapy element to the aroma which is very strong. Behind the soap there is hints of cereal malt, light citrus, and yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grains, light citrus, and a weak hop finish. Far from being the best IPA I’ve ever had. |

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 473ml can
7.0% ABV
Canned On: December 5, 2021
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
March 4, 2022
$3.95
The beer pours a translucent dark cherry red colour with a thin creamy light tan coloured cap that lasts several minutes. The aroma is roasted malt, molasses, and some floral hops in the background. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is sweet up front with notes of molasses and roasted malt, and finishes with a sharp bitter hop kick. This is a style that more Ontario brewers need to get behind, because when done well like this one, it’s one enjoyable style. |
