776 | Gila Monster Amber Lager | United States | Vienna / Amber Lager | 4.1
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 What a pleasant suprise, this is beer candy. So much carmel flavor its shocking. This would be a bad thing, meaning the beer is unbalanced, but the carmel aroma and flavors are just so strong and thick it really reminded me of carmel apples and halloween. |

778 | New Belgium Fat Tire Amber Ale | United States | Amber Ale | 3.9
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Excellent brew, I love this stuff, somehow it is a bit inconsistent, still, but that must be from the treatment of the product rather than the manufacture. Its readily available at most bars and has a wonderful hop bite with smooth malty mellowness. |

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 Yard beer heaven. This and PBR are the best brews for downing with a game of washers or cornhole. This one really reminds me of Busch Light, only this is a little better and alot cheaper. Still tastes like a fake beer, but not a bad fake beer. |

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 6 Much better than Corona, and almost always the same price. Go for this one...German beer brewed in Mexico...that's about what it tastes like. I really couldn't pick out any malt flavor, but it was nice to taste some or any hops in a macro. |

789 | Michelob Amber Bock | United States | Dunkel / Dark Lager | 1.9
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 Dollar drafts at Pasta House before it closed (RIP) and it was either this or Bud Light, and at that price who could resist. But anyway, some maltiness midway through, semi-real looking foam with light lacing, weak aroma, but not awful, and better than the other (former) dollar option, Bud Light. |

790 | ZiegenBock Amber | United States | Dunkel / Dark Lager | 2.1
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 Blah, um is this just the southern version of AmberBock? I think it is. This had some malt character, but it was certainly vague and remined me a lot of AmberBock, but was just less roasty and more mellow...or maybe that's because the bottle I had was so damn old. |

791 | Shiner Bock | United States | Dunkel / Dark Lager | 3.4
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 I wasn't too impressed with this bock. It was served everywhere in Dallas and Fort Worth, which I guess makes sense. When it was served to me it was always too cold and that may have affected the aroma and taste, as each time I had a second one, both improved. Nice brown color and malty, not sweet nor too hoppy. |

792 | Chimay Cinq Cents (White) | Belgium | Abbey Tripel | 4.6
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 9 Wow. This was fantastic. I had this instead of champagne for new year's 2005, and I could not have made a better decision. The corked bottle unleashed a rich fruity aroma of everything from raisens to orange and even clove. What stood out was the persistant carbonation and how well the aromas transferred to taste, not to mention how smooth and still bubbly it came across the tongue with a hint of alcohol. |

793 | 75th Street Cow Town Wheat | United States | American Wheat | 3.9
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Let me say that to like this, you should really be a fan of American wheat ales. This is the single most refresthing beer I have had, and is quite delicious, slightly grassy, somewhat citrusy and a light malt to play off the rich wheat. This beer produced the best head and lacing of any American Wheat I've yet seen. It is slightly watery, but the subtle flavors really come through in this 'lighter' beer. RERATE: While still quite an American Wheat beer, I've had bolder and more interesting takes since. However, I'll never say to a Cowtown...unless I'm driving or something...wait, that's a bad idea with 75th Street involved... |

798 | 75th Street Good Hope IPA | United States | IPA | 3.8
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 I liked it, good amber color that was hard to describe with good lacing, excellent bite and apparent alcohol flavor. Not exceptionally balanced, but a good hoppy brew. Weak aroma...but that may have been from all the smoke in their bar. Oh yea, and it was not only on tap, but on tap at the brewery, always a plus. |

800 | Miller Lite | United States | Light / Lite Lager | 2.0
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 True pilsner? Hmm well if that's so then Budweiser is the KOB (both ludicrious claims, of course). Watery, some hop flavor (no aroma, I can detect) which ain't too bad for some macro crap. Blah, boring, cheap and good for offering (female) guests (they seem to like it). If you're on this site, read about something more intersting, you've had this already, anyway. |
