2 | 75th Street Alpha Male Pale Ale | United States | American Pale Ale | 4.0
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Decidedly in the AIPA area or higher. Dry hopped in the keg this pour came with a Lulupin gland floating the glass. Gloriously hoppy, floral, citric and spicy. Like CJ's JPA hopped up. Malty backing sticky lace. Lingering bitterness inviting another sip. Tasty stuff, here. |

3 | 75th Street Cow Town Wheat | United States | American Wheat | 3.9
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Let me say that to like this, you should really be a fan of American wheat ales. This is the single most refresthing beer I have had, and is quite delicious, slightly grassy, somewhat citrusy and a light malt to play off the rich wheat. This beer produced the best head and lacing of any American Wheat I've yet seen. It is slightly watery, but the subtle flavors really come through in this 'lighter' beer. RERATE: While still quite an American Wheat beer, I've had bolder and more interesting takes since. However, I'll never say to a Cowtown...unless I'm driving or something...wait, that's a bad idea with 75th Street involved... |

4 | 75th Street Fountain City Amber | United States | Amber Ale | 4.0
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 What a great Irish Ale! Ab darn good beer and one that I would love to have again and again and again. Very delicious and and complex yet still somewhat refreshing. Good lacing, gorgeous amber color and not offenseive in any way, a real winner from 75th Street. |

5 | 75th Street Good Hope IPA | United States | IPA | 3.8
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 I liked it, good amber color that was hard to describe with good lacing, excellent bite and apparent alcohol flavor. Not exceptionally balanced, but a good hoppy brew. Weak aroma...but that may have been from all the smoke in their bar. Oh yea, and it was not only on tap, but on tap at the brewery, always a plus. |

6 | 75th Street Happy Ending Strong Ale | United States | English Strong Ale | 3.8
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Had plenty of this that night at 75th Street including a growler afterwards. Loads of malt and a soft bready and minerally yeast presence. Somewhat cloudy and earthen brown, alcohol and sweet mouthfeel with dry finish. Rather toasty and boozy, a nice fall offering. |

8 | 75th Street Imperial IPA | United States | Imperial IPA | 4.1
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 I nearly forgot I had drank this beer (at 9.1abv I can't imagine how that happened *hic*). It was nice to have this at the brewery and had more of a kick to it, obviously, than the standard IPA from 75th strete. E's review is pretty right on, but I recall some pine and slight citrus coming over into the taste, as well. I'd love to try it again. |

9 | 75th Street Kolsch | United States | Kölsch | 3.3
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 I'm not sure why this was availible in January, but whatever, it was still pretty respectable. Not as solid as 75th Street's other brews, but still good. The head was flat (read: none), but still it smelled pretty hoppy and tasted pretty blanced. Almost too refreshing, it was gone before I got a great handle on it. |

12 | 75th Street Possum Trot Brown Ale | United States | Brown Ale | 4.2
Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Served on cask at 75th Street hanging out with Dansting, Caddylac and Timmyk77. This is one of the best browns out there, I think only eclipsed by Schlafly's American Brown offered this summer. Deep brown and somewhat clear with loads of fluffy white head that stayed to the last drop. Its loaded with toffee and caramel malt flavors that meld with a mellow (UK) hop flavor and bitterness. A superior session ale. |

13 | 75th Street Pumpkin Spice | United States | Spiced Beer | 3.5
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Poured a lighter amber color with a thinner head that settled to a small cap. Smelled of cinnimon, nutmeg, malt with caramel and a bit of pumpkin. Tasted sweet with flashes of bitter and a bready but very light yeast presence, quite well done and not too much of anything, a bit more bitter may have been nice, but certainly an above average offering. |

14 | 75th Street Red Eye Rye | United States | Rye Beer | 4.0
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8 From a growler (2 liter soda bottle?) that I shared with the family. I remember why I love rye in beers. Like the little brother to the Rye AIPA I brewed with my dad the day before easter. Nice american hops and a peppery rye presence. Excellent. Thin mouthfeel and less carbonation than I would have preferred, but still an excellent session ale. |

15 | 75th Street Royal Raspberry Wheat | United States | Fruit Beer | 3.3
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 RASPBERRIES! Well they're certainly present without being overbearing. A very delcious ale and more a hefe than an wheat in my humble opinion and certainly delcious. A deep amber color, especially for a wheat American ale, it was darker than Blvd. Wheat in a direct comparison, but had even less of a head and zero lacing, but still tasted like a true Raspberry Wheat. Another winner from 75th Street Brewery. |

16 | 75th Street Smoked Porter | United States | Porter | 2.9
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6 I'm not sure if this was lackluster offering as much as I'm spoiled with smoked porters. Slightly roasty aroma, without much depth. Deep ruby/brown with a small cap of head and nice lacing. Medium bodied and drinkable, lower carbonation. Low smoke character and boring porter backing. Sadly, I could just not get excited about this beer... |

17 | 75th Street Whiskey Barrel Muddy Mo Stout | United States | Dry Stout | 3.4
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 I had one of the last pints from the firkin this past weekend. The pour was deep and dark brown with a fading, creamy head, once the glass was nearly done a thick layer of yeast had settled to the bottom...nice. It smelled like whiskey, wood, chocolate, vanilla and, well, stout, quite pleasant. The in the mouth it became quite puckeringly dry, between the woody astringincy and warmer serving temperature it was rather chalky in texture. The flavor delivered on the aromatics, however and it was a very different, yet satisfying take on barrel aging. |

18 | 75th Street XXX-mas Ale | United States | English Strong Ale | 3.8
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 I'm not sure if I was more impressed with this beer or intoxicated with it. Some alcohol, toffee, hint of figs, and toast in the aroma. Alocholic, soft yet slightly thick maltiness in the mouth. Some bitterness on the swallow, minerally/malty flavor profile with just a hint of alcohol burn. A nice XXXmas gift. |

20 | Abbaye des Rocs Brune | Belgium | Belgian Strong Ale | 2.8
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6 Poured a dark copper with lots of fluffy, eggshell head however there was plenty of precipitate in the glass and it was rather flaky, not particulate like most sediment. Smelled of green apples, caramel, raisins and coffee. There was some odd astringency in the flavor that didn't expecially interfere with the mouthfeel. It went beyond the nominal dryness for most Belgians. Unfortunately this one was just out of whack and I cannot reccomend it highly on this tasting. |

22 | Abita Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale | United States | Blonde Ale | 3.6
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8 As much a blonde ale as an APA as much a sparkling ale, or whatever...it was tasty, alright? Nice US hop flavor, aroma and bitterness. Clean maltiness with a touch of nuttiness in the back. Less citric hop flavor than expected. Would make a great summer refresher. Comes up to more the the sum of its parts. |

24 | Abita Turbo Dog | United States | Brown Ale | 3.2
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 I got pretty much what I expected on this one, a decent brown ale, but nothing made it stand out. It had all the elements of a successful brown, but for some reason just didn't come together. Slight hints of coffe, toffee, chocolate and light hops faded around, and had a tiny head at pour that vanished. Just too little too late. |

25 | Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier Urbock | Germany | Rauchbier | 4.2
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 RAUCH! So that's what that word means, hmm... I cannot wait to cook with some of this stuff! Anyway, as soon as I opened the bottle my whole damn apartment reeked of smoke (and still does). Wow this is powerful stuff, not for the weak. Rich with smoked malt and hop bitterness. This reminds me of smoked pork butt, oversmoked ribs and charcoal coated in meat grease, its a beer of testosterone and destruction. This is what Tyler Durden would drink. Enjoy this one, if you're ready. |
