440 ml can, from Être Gourmet, Belgium. ABV is 5.0%. Very dark brown to black colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of malts, chocolate and mild coffee, some vinous hints too, a faint hint of smoke. Smooth mouthfeel. The flavour is slightly on the dry side, again with notes of roast malts, chocolate and mild coffee, a certain fruitiness of dark fruits (prunes, blackberries) makes the beer very drinkable, noticeable bittering hops in the finish. Easy drinking, enjoyable.

Smooth and pleasant flavour, some sweetness but not too much, otherwise the same elements as the aroma, very moderate hops.

Citric mouthfeel. Citric flavour too, again with notes of spicy yeast, with a distinct and rather sharp bitterness in the finish. Not perfectly balanced.
