330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.8%. Deep golden to amber colour, huge white head. Aroma of Belgian ale yeast, malts and mild spices, including juniper berries. Flavour with the same elements, not too sweet, some fruitiness too, low bitterness.

February 2020: 500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.6%. Very dark brown to black colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of dark malts, prunes, dark chocolate, caramel, some vinous hints. Flavour with the same elements (but no vinous hints here), also mild coffee, moderate hops in the finish. Okay.

330 ml bottle, as Kwaremont Pittig Blond (Bavik is no longer part of this beer's name), from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.6%. Deep golden colour, large white head. Aroma of Belgian ale yeast, white kandij sugar syrup, stewed yellow plums and mild spices. The moderately sweet flavour has the same elements, spicy and hoppy finish, decent bitterness. Nice beer.

330 ml can, from Helgø Meny Stadionparken. Alcohol free, gluten free. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, small white head. Aroma of citrus, wort and grain. Distinct citrus / grapefruit in the flavour, also grainy notes. Decent bitterness.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.5%. Mahogany colour, small but lasting off-white to beige nitro head. Aroma of cherries and marzipan, hints of chocolate. Medium sweet flavour, distinct cherries and marzipan, moderate notes of chocolate. Low bitterness. Not your typical quad.

May 2024: 330 ml can, from Helgø Meny Stokka. ABV is 0.5%. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citrus (lemon, lime and oranges). Flavour of the same fruits, zesty, with a distinct hop bitterness in the finish. Fairly refreshing and drinkable for a n/a radler.

December 2012: 750 ml bottle from Vinoble / Voldby Købmandsgård, shared at local tasting. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Fairly strong fruity and mildly spicy aroma. Fairly refreshing flavour for its strength, medium sweet, spicy with a hint of honey.

500 ml bottle, as Nua Hveteøl Chili & Passion, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy and very pale straw colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citrus, passionfruit and a hint of chili, also hints of banana and cloves. Fizzy mouthfeel. Flavour of wheat and citrus, hints of passionfruit, banana and cloves, ending in a moderate chili burn.

500 ml bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.2%. Clear reddish brown colour, large head, slightly off-white. Aroma of malts, nuts and burnt caramel. The flavour has a moderate but pleasant fruitiness, followed by malty and nutty notes. Moderate bitterness, nice to drink.
