    March 2021: 440 ml can, from Seven Cellars. ABV is 8%. Cloudy brownish-yellow colour, moderate white head. Pleasant juicy aroma, notes of citrus and tropical fruits. Medium sweet and juicy flavour, tropical fruits and citrus again, low bitterness.

    568 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9.2%. Clear deep golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts, toffee, caramel, orange marmalade. The flavour has citrus, caramel and toffee, and a decent hoppy and piney bitterness throughout.

    440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Herbarium. ABV is 8.0%. Murky greyish-yellow colour, moderate white head. Strong and lovely aroma of various tropical fruits, also citrus and sprucetips. Pine needles, resin and sprucetips in the flavour, also alcohol, grapefruit, tangerine and tropical fruits. Moderate to low bitterness.

    On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger, as Brix Haka NEPA. Hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, also some citrus, a hint of sprucetips. The flavour has the same elements, but is not too sweet. A moderate bitterness in the finish.

    330 ml can, as Voss Fellesbryggeri Slusk, from Vaaland, Bryne. Brewed with kveik from Voss. ABV is 4.7%. Cloudy orange-brown colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of pine, juniper and yeast. Fruity and moderately sweet flavour, hints of plums and juniper, moderate bitterness.

    375 ml corked & caged green bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Slightly hazy golden to orange colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of brettanomyces / farmhouse, lemons, rustic kitchen and oak. Very sour flavour, nearly too sour for me, notes of brettanomyces, lemons, lactic acid, white wine vinegar and oak.

    440 ml can, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Aroma of grapefruit, oranges and lactic acid. Sour and citric flavour, grapefruit and oranges galore. Some lactose. Low bitterness.

    440 ml can, as Slakteren The Butcher #93 Brown Ale, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.7%. Dark reddish brown colour, nearly black. Large to moderate off-white head. Aroma of malts and brown bread, hints of burnt breadcrumbs. Malty flavour, a slight acidity in the background. Notes of brown bread and burnt breadcrumbs, hints of prunes.

    250 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8%. Slightly hazy golden colour, small white head. Strong aroma of passionfruit, mango and melon. Medium sweet flavour, notes of mango and melon, hints of strawberries and lime. Low bitterness.

    February 2022: 440 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 11%. Pitch black colour, moderate tan head. Unusual aroma elements (the pandan, probably, which I am not familiar with), coconut and vanilla, only a hint of citrus / lemongrass. Rich and warming mouthfeel. The flavour is very sweet, with loads of roast malts, dark syrup, sweetened coconut / Bounty chocolate and vanilla. Only a hint of lemongrass, the bitterness is low.
