330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Nearly black colour, small beige head. Aroma of roast malts, burnt breadcrumbs, thin coffee. Light bodied for its strength. The flavour is fairly dry with piney hops and a very bitter aftertaste, otherwise the same elements as the aroma.

440 ml can, as Salikatt Summer Fling Cold IPA, from Vinmonopolet Verksgata. ABV is 6.0%. Slightly hazy pale straw colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of citrus and herbal hops, hints of tropical fruits. Light bodied. Distinct herbal hops in the crisp flavour, also some citrus / grapefruit, hints of tropical fruits, a good bitterness.

440 ml can, batch #3009, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 11%. Inspired by the Norwegian favourite cake Kvæfjordkake (modestly known all over Norway as World's Best). Pitch black colour, moderate brown head. Aroma of said cake, also chocolate / cocoa, coffee and vanilla. Sweet flavour with the same elements. I'd prefer a somewhat drier flavour, it would still be sweet enough to accompany a Kvæfjordkake.

440 ml can, as Monkey Brew Doppelganger Black IPA, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Nearly black colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of medium roast malts and piney / resinous hops. Light bodied for its strength. The flavour has distinct notes of heavy roast malts / roasted barley, strong and bitter coffee, and a sharp and very bitter resinous dry finish.

355 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.0%. Cloudy yellow colour, moderate white head. Distinct aroma of guava and papaya. Flavour of citrus, mango, guava and papaya, hints of pine needles and sprucetips. Dry finish. Good beer.

500 ml bottle, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 12%. Pitch black colour, moderate but lasting creamy brown head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee, vanilla, chocolate and alcohol. Creamy, rich and warming mouthfeel. Rich and sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma.

Aroma of molasses, fusel, alcohol, treacle, honey, dark dried fruits. Warming mouthfeel. Sweet flavour of medium roast malts, chocolate, treacle, honey and dark dried fruits.
