Nose: Rainy meadow, wet fall leaves, salty sea shore, fig, vanilla, fresh biscuit. Clear yellow body topped with moderate white head, leaves a skim coat and decent lace. Mouth: a bit Creamy medium Flavor: A bit sour, a bit medicinal/aspirin some bitter in the end. Very very green, tart no sweet. Some farmhouse funk, hint of bitter green herbs.

Coffee Porter: Nose of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and green herbal notes. Deep brown opaque body topped with short-lived caramel-colored head which leaves a good skim coat and good lacing. Mouth is medium bodied, slightly creamy and quite fizzy. Flavor is complex, some coffee a bit of chocolate in mid taste, sweet near the end and then finishes slightly bitter. As often (it seems to me) with chocolate and/or coffee brews there is some hint of artificial flavoring. Not saying it IS artificial. Its probably my palette and something about the way alcohol, which is slightly present here, the chocolate combine.

Huge NEIPA nose ripe sweet tropical fruit abounding. Foggy medium gold body with minimal head and no lace.(this seems to be a pattern with KFB's IPAs.) Also another IPA with the can mislabeled as an Imperial Pale Ale, its 6%. They also mislabeled their Superscript IPA the same way.Mouth on this is creamy medium with very nice fiz. Flavor follows the nose and adds significant bittering in the middle, finish is quite clean. Also a lot of grassy flavors present. This is tasty! I think this is my first taste of Kveik yeast, interesting stuff. https://growlermag.com/rise-of-the-super-yeast-kveik/

Nose: Pineapple, bubblegum, cotton candy. Hazy pale peach colored body topped by a thin head with minimum retention and no lace. Mouth is moderate bodied with a lot of fizz. So, OK, this is a low alcohol and lower calorie effort. This is more drinkable than most such brews. Tropical notes in the middle followed by some sour and finishes dry with a bit of bitter. Some pineapple, some lemon pith, some pepper, some grass. Giving flavor an 8 (if it was a regular IPA it would be a 5). While being lower in alcohol than most of the low alcs I have tried this one does NOT just taste like hop water so for that...well done.

Moderate nose of pine, grass, barnyard funk, cracker, yeast. Clear medium gold body topped with serious pillow and very good lacing.Good tingle on the tongue, medium bodied. An unusual slight sourness for an IPA befitting of the funk in the nose, almost tastes like a pils. Touch of pine, touch of tobacco, bit of pepper. I'm not getting much of the tropical claimed. I like it but its very NOT an IPA profile.

Nose: Pineapple, tangerine, lemon, lawn clippings. Medium gold, hazed, good white head, no lace. Mouth is a bit thin and a bit fizzy. Sour orange rind, lemon zest, funked up grass... finish is more like a decent pilsner. An odd duck but quite drinkable/sessionable.

Strong nose, lemon peal, pine sap, touch of sourdough. Slightly hazed medium copper body topped by a foamy white head with decent retention and faint lace. Effervescence continues up side of glass. Mouth is full-some and slightly creamy, good tingle. Flavor is straightforward, well balanced, bit of pine, hint of tropical notes, slightly sour and nicely bitter finish.

Not much nose here, faintly tropical fruit...gentle perhaps. Soft gold body is well hazed (NEIPA) topped by a frothy white head that has little lace but leaves a lasting skim coat. Mouth is creamy and slightly under-carbonated. This is indeed gentle in the flavor. Very very drinkable with no outstanding qualities. Nice slightly bitter finish, subtle all the way, unique. IF this is what they set out to do (as the name suggests) then they did it well.

Strong nose ..... lemon, pepper, tangerine, honey, violets, lite malts. Hazed light orange body topped with a decent head that is short lived, nice lacing. Mouth is clean, medium bodied, proper tingle.Starts fruity but quickly goes to a piney bitterness, more so than the 65 IBU might suggest. With all the citrus in the nose there is surprisingly little in the mouth. Tastes like an old school IPA which is a treat. From the website an unusually accurate description. "Beer Stats: 6.5%ABV; 65 IBU; 12SRM? Best if served at 48 – 54F (9 – 12C) Tasting Notes: Our Wadsworth India Pale Ale , and its bold red branding, is a well balanced brew at 6.5% ABV; plenty of select malted barley, and an aggressive dose of premium hops, we think you will enjoy the taste and aroma of this style. Charter Oak’s IPA pours with a full head of foam and a rich amber shade. As you bring your glass up to your mouth, one can not help but enjoy the aroma of the citrus, floral, and piney from our fresh, finishing hops. Indeed, a familiar nose for most American west coast India Pale styles. Once the liquid reaches your tongue, our hops are loud and clear and as this IPA reaches the back of your palate, the hops only become more flavorful and intense. Having said this, our IPA is not too bitter and one could argue, with all the hoppiness of this this well balanced style, it is a beer that can be savored all night long."

Simply amazing nose...green and honey and violets and peach, long lasting and strong. Light gold body with a white head with fair retention and no lace. Medium to thick mouth, nice coating yet clean. Can you say alcohol masked! This is just dangerously drinkable. Not super bitter, lovely malt backbone. Wildflowers and honey, not tart not sweet not cloying hint of stone fruit and pith, herbal, touch of pine. WOW! This is the best DIPA I have had.
