Bottle. Colour - clear metallic gold colour, plenty of effervescence, half inch white bubbly cap, some lacing. Aroma - stale cereal grains, grass, earthy hops. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, well carbonated, very crisp for a lager with this kind of availablility. Flavour - malty but on the sweet side and the bitter hop finish doesn't quite balance it out.

    Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4

Bottle. Colour - clear pale gold, lots of effervescence, short lived frothy white head, decent lacing. Aroma - biscuity malt, wet cardboard, and musty hops. Mouthfeel - thin to medium bodied, a definite watery mouthfeel at times, and well carbonated. Flavour - nicely balanced between the stale malty sweetness, and the bittering hop finish. Better than a North American macro, but not by much.

    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6

Bottle. Colour - a clear metallic gold colour with a one inch foamy off-white head and a bit of lacing as you start drinking. Aroma - the first thing you notice is the strong notes of blueberry which are masking the herbal hop and light grains that are also present. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, carbonation is above average. Flavour - the flavour borders on being that of a typical blonde ale with grains up front and a bitter hop finish with just a hint of blueberry sweetness. It is hard to believe with all the blueberry aroma that there is so little in the flavour.

Bottle. It is certainly tractor season here. Colour - cloudy medium gold colour, cap is white, about half an inch, and bubbly, lacing is average. Aroma - bready malts, some yeast notes, some light fruit notes, and citrus. Mouthfeel - medium bodied and over carbonated. Flavour - some nmon-offensive grain notes up front but those give way to notes of tart fruit and funky yeast, both of which increase in presence as the beer warms.

Can. Colour - very clear pale straw colour, huge frothy white cap which doesn't linger, no lacing. Aroma - earthy hops, wet cardboard, a slight diacetyl note. Mouthfeel - thin bodied, very well carbonated. Flavour - grainy malt with a bitter hop finish. I'm not sure where the bamboo is in the beer as both the aroma and flavour were typical of a slighlty sub-par craft pale lager (but still better than a macro pale lager).

  • Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Bottle. Colour - golden copper, slight haze, thin off-white head that doesn't stay around. Aroma - funky yeast, tart fruit notes, salt water, light wheat notes. Mouthfeel - thin bodied, which I hear is appropriate for the style, very well carbonated. Flavour - tart fruit notes, sour grains, and salt water, and a spicy finish.
