That is a great question. I am not sure, maybe they are just trying to make reviews even more accurate but that still does not explain how Chimay jumped all the up to number one. Weird.

Refer to the new thread I started with the subject "New rating average" Any more replies to this will be deleted! This message was edited by Flashpro at 4/6/2005 9:08:44 PM.

I enjoy these rates. They should change quite often. It's normal I think, because there could not be the "best" beer of all the times. On the other hand Chimay is worth to be in first ten anyway. Good work with beer rating system!!!

I like the new rating system over the old straight mean system. I like how there is emphasis on the number of people who have had it and that you don't count the single reviewers. Ever consider giving more weight to people with more reviews/higher level guru? Cause I know some1 like E or Vac giving a beer a 10 may mean more than me or some1 with under 100 reviews giving a beer a 10. Just a thought. Oh ya, and the brew's overall ranking for style is pretty sweet too. Keep up the good work.

In Reply To #6 We thought of that, but it's not entirely fair. The big guys would keep getting more and more powerful, and control the top lists.
