Santiago Cerveza De Oro

Website Comments by CHANGEUP45

Ok. I tried this beer yesterday and am having some difficulty finding it. I tend to fall on the cautious side when it comes to adding new beers because of the great job on the web clean up. Anyways, it's brewed by Cerveceria La Constancia, which I found 11 beers listed. Am I missing this one on the list? I heard something about 7-11 adding this beer, which makes little sense to me so I'm just checking. Muchas gracias!

http://www.7-eleven.com/newsroom/articles.asp?p=2251 Looks like it is all new - brewed for 7-11, so go ahead and add it. No abv listed on the article. If it is on the bottles, let me know. Gracias, Brett

In Reply To #2 Thanks Brett! Couldn't find abv either, even on the bottle, etc. They do come in bottles... $5.99 a six pack. Marketed against Corona I guess.

Has anyone emailed the brewer or 7-11? I will on Monday and see if I can get a definite answer. I think a brewer email would be the best confirmation before adding a beer to the site.

In Reply To #4 E, I bought a six pack of the beer and tried it. How's that for confirmation? I'm just kidding, but I do know that it is an actual beer ;) I just wanted to make sure it wasn't under some crazy Spanish name in the database and in fact it was new (as the article states). Does everyone email a brewer before adding a beer? Nah, I didn't think so, drinking it is probably good enough This message was edited by southerncoronas at 3/22/2005 2:50:31 PM.
