Why isn't Gose a style?

Website Comments by MARTINSANDERS

Nearly every brewer in the American Northeast and Canada has a Gose nowadays and they don't fit into any other category.

There was a discussion among admins in 2011 (started by Flashpro no less) with regards to goses and the Polish gratzer but because there weren't a lot of them at that time, no decision was made one way or another.. Since that time, both goses and gratzers have become far more popular and probably deserve a category, but it's not up to me.

I agree Gose deserves a category of its own.
