Found it when I looked for my article about Schlitz et al (Why, beer makers, why?!?) [^] I live in the Lakes Region although not super close to Superior...Ontario is right next to me. The wreck and the beer are both famous. The wreck is a tragic tale. Captain McSorley was a seasoned veteran of the lakes. Nobody knows for sure what went down that night, except for the ship itself. [?][?][?] The beer named for the famous ship is World Class. It is one of the few great micros available in this village, but there is a humble gas mart a bit south that has more. If you like porters, you owe yourself a sample of this one! [^]

[:(] He disappeared long before this site went down, Flash. His Point-Counterpoint "political exchanges" with Eaglefan often amounted to an online brawl. But then Eaglefan vanished as well. Wonder where both of 'em are these days...[?]
