[;)] Not necessarily soda pops, but my first choice IS a soda. http://adirondackbeverages.com/Products/Flavors/BlackCherry/tabid/151/Default.aspx The ingredients list is ordinary. Could be any old run-of-the-mill pop at any price. But imo this one is Just Right. [^] [8)] Addressing the issue of HFCS. Duly noted. http://www.thirstydudes.com/company/adirondack Adirondack Beverages has been around for a long time. [:(] Ye Olde Classic Byrne Dairy on Main closed down last December. Had been there for an uncertain, but long, time. They have a bigger store out on the commercial fringes, however.

Back in the day (1970) when I started my drinking career, the hotel beer parlours (as they were called then) had a salt shaker on every table - round tables with terry covers. We'd see the occasional old-timer give his government-mandated 8oz glass a shake or two of salt. Of course we tried it as well, but just a couple of times. Make not difference in the flavour to us kids.
[:0] So it's not required to stir the salted beer! No wonder mine foamed up. Just add a couple shakes at the table and you're good to go. [;)] [8D] Good to see a reply posted. Mostly the only way to know that anybody's been here is to see the Read columns, including for threads that I started.
