General Beer Discussion by THOMASSOVA4
Pretty funny article: http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2014/06/27/326180559/usa-vs-belgium-if-the-world-cup-were-played-in-beer?ft=1&f=1001

Man, this article created quite the discussion. I'm with Slow ... If I had to give up the beer of either Belgium or US, I'd give up Belgium in spite of how great their beers are. Belgium owns sours, wilds, and quads, dubs, etc. But in the end, I need fresh IPAs and big strong stouts and porters more. USA by a hair

I wonder how much cheaper all the awesome sours from places like Cantillon, Fonteinen, and Rodenbach (great deal anyway) are there.

Well Slowrunner I guess you put my slightly drunk butt in place. I guess what I should have said is I wish I had discovered Belgium beers a long time ago. America has very outstanding brews and my fat Neely is starting to prove it. Since my last name Is Fast I guess I need to become Fastrunner. So I can continue to enjoy all the beer our great nation brews, Goose Island, Weyerbacher, Left Hand, Clown Shoes etc.

I have yet to visit the new Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard, NC which is about 100 miles from my house. SOOOoooo looking forward to that! The Asheville, NC area beer scene is the best in the South. Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Across America, Southeast Edition will be the quasi-official opening of their NC facility. The brewers' list is phenomenal.

If I had to, I'd bet 9.99 for 4 x 16 oz, as opposed to 9,99 currently for 6 x 12 oz.

Man, if I were that close, I'd go regularly. LOVE their beers, as a whole.

Cory, it looks like the 4 pack of tall boys is indeed the same price as 6 shorties, at least it is here. VERY nice variation on an old stand-by.
